A message from Dr. Karen Shaw, Registrar, and Dr. Werner Oberholzer, Deputy Registrar

Dear Physicians,

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan wishes to express its sincere appreciation to all the physicians diligently working during the COVID 19 pandemic to provide access, treatment and care to patients affected.

We understand that there is a large volume of e-mails with information being disseminated daily. In the interest of minimizing duplicate or outdated information, we will generally limit our communications to abbreviated updates which are shared with the Saskatchewan Medical Association (SMA), The Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP), The  Pharmacy Association of Saskatchewan (PAS), The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), The Saskatchewan Ministry of Health (MoH) and  the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) – These short informational updates will be sent to you daily via the SMA Practice Alert (archived alerts can be viewed at the bottom of the page)

Should you for some reason not receive the daily Practice Alert, please contact the SMA communications team.

Please consult the Ministry of Health and Saskatchewan Health Authority websites for the most up to date information on COVID-19.

Direct e-mail from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan will thus be limited to issues pertaining specifically to CPSS matters for physicians, at the discretion of the Registrar. It is important to pay attention to these specific e-mails please. The CPSS website also contains relevant information and updates.

Please contact us with questions, concerns and comments – The  College is available to support physicians during these uncertain times.
