ADVISORY: Presence of Furanyl UF-17 and other new psychoactive substances found in recent Regina police seizures                                                                  

This advisory is to alert to the presence of the three controlled substances below in tablets seized by Regina Police Services and tested in laboratory by Health Canada:

  • Ethyl-heptedrone
  • 3,4-Methylenedioxy-N-benzylcathinone (BMDP)
  • Furanyl UP-17
According to a notice received by the Prescription Review Program two other substances, alprazolam and 4-Anilino-1-Boc-piperidine were also found in an exhibit of a green counterfeit alprazolam tablet. 

These substances are known to be associated with overdoses or deaths.
