On September 26, 2025, the CPSS Council imposed the following penalty on Dr. Girgis: (1) a two-month suspension commencing on November 1, 2025, and ending on December 31, 2025; (b) a reprimand; and (c) directed that he pay 50% of the costs incurred by the College in relation to the discipline hearing in the amount of $24,404.05 payable no later than February 1, 2026. Written reasons for the Council’s decision are expected to be released by the Council following their next meeting on November 28 and 29, 2025. Charges
