GOVERNANCE POLICY: EL-1  General Executive Constraint

The Registrar must not cause or allow any practice, activity, decision or organizational circumstance which is either unlawful, imprudent, or in violation of commonly accepted business and professional ethics.

The Council or the Executive Committee may authorize the Registrar to breach any of the Executive Limitations contained in EL-2 through EL-15, subject to any terms that the Council or the Executive Committee concludes are appropriate.
