Finding a Doctor

You are encouraged to find a regular family physician, who will coordinate your overall care.  Seeing the same doctor for all your care, and for referrals to specialists, will ensure continuity of care and allow your health record to be kept complete.  Even though you may be healthy, the use of walk-in clinics and emergency departments for your routine care is not recommended.

NOTICE: The Saskatchewan Health Authority has discontinued its list of "Family physicians who are accepting new patients". Please be patient as we collaborate with healthcare organisations in the province in an attempt to find a solution to restoring this service.

For Indigenous patients, additional information on traditional and cultural resources is available here .

The CPSS does not make physician recommendations or referrals.

How do I look up information about a doctor?
You can find information about a doctor's office address, education, qualifications, specialty, licensing and discipline history by using the Physician Search box found on the top left of every website page. You may search for a last name, or a last name followed by a comma and one or more letters of the first name.  The Physician Search is always the top left menu box on the left-hand side of the homepage.
